Big Brothers/Big Sisters must be 21 years of age or older who live in Cuyahoga County. Must pass a police background check. Must have valid driver’s license, insurance, and reliable transportation.
Completed application, proof of auto insurance, valid driver's license.
Bigs and Littles meet at mutually convenient times.

Description

Recruits and trains adult volunteers to serve as role models, friends and mentors for youth who may benefit from a supportive relationship. The volunteers ("Bigs") have contact with the youth ("Littles") twice a month for a period of at least one year. The volunteer and child participate in social and recreational activities such as watching movies, talking on the phone, bicycling, or just running errands. Professional caseworkers are available to provide advice and support.
