Those who qualify for the city's medical exemption/special assistance program must sign up for the service prior to the start of the season. Households approved for the program will automatically receive the service when the City of Akron is actively engaged in residential snow plowing and/or snow accumulations exceed five (5) inches. Call the 311 Contact Center for more information or to request assistance.
