To build self-esteem through a one or two week camping session. Children are referred by area professionals who have identified them as needing social and/or emotional development. Younger children stay at main camp which is fairly traditional in its facilities and activities: i.e. swimming, art and crafts, and nature. Older campers go to our outpost site where they live in tents, cook their own food, and practice primitive wilderness skills.

Provides a summer residential camp experience free of charge to referred children from Licking County. The majority of the children come from a disadvantaged and/or at-risk home situation. Criteria used to determine referrals includes, but is not limited to, economic status, family and home-life situation, behavior, and low self-esteem.
