SUPPORTIVE SERVICES FOR VETERAN FAMILIES (SSVF) | WASHINGTON-MORGAN COMMUNITY ACTION
Provides supportive services for veterans and their families. Veteran must bring DD214 and complete initial screening application to determine eligibility. Funding for these services comes from the Department of Veteran Affairs.

Eligibility
To be eligible for services with the SSVF (Supportive Services for Veteran Families): - Head of household or the spouse must be a veteran - Income must be less that 80% of AMI - Household is homeless, or at risk of homelessness according to HUD definition - Veteran must have served at least one day in active duty in the US Military with a discharge status that is other than dishonorable - Veteran must be willing to work with case manager to obtain goals set, work within a budget, etc. They must be capable of sustaining housing after short term assistance and case management.
