Volunteer Opportunities For Individuals - Domestic Violence And Sexual Assault Victim Advocates | Cocoon (THE)
Seeks volunteers to take crisis calls from domestic violence and sexual assault survivors. This includes providing emotional support, answering questions about legal options and providing information and resources via phone calls, as well as accompanying survivors to the hospital and/or police stations. Training is provided and a supervisor is available for back-up to answer questions of the advocate.
