Application process
Call the office for more information. Apply for service during regular hours. Specific NET Intake Procedures: - Lorain County Department of Job and Family Services (LCDJFS) opens a NET case for Medicaid recipients with LifeCare Ambulance Services, Provide-a-Ride or Lorain County Transit. - A client who will be using transportation services is determined to be eligible by the LCDJFS Transportation Coordinator. - The client must then call one of the transportation providers to arrange for future services. - All NET rides require 48 hours notice. - The NET program no longer offers mileage reimbursement for medically-related transportation.

Eligibility
Serves OWF and Medicaid participants in Lorain County. - All Medicaid Recipients can receive NET. - OWF Cash Assistance may be eligible for bus tickets or a $50 monthly travel allowance to assist with getting to and from work. Eligibility for this is determined by the OWF recipient's Employment Service Counselor (ESC).
