RESIDENTIAL PLACEMENT SERVICES | KNOX COUNTY BOARD OF DEVELOPMENTAL DISABILITIES
Planning for Home Supports is built around the individual with a disability or the family's/guardians wants and needs. They may want to live in their own home, in an apartment, with family, or they may want to live and share expenses with roommates. Supports may include hiring a provider who can help with living skills, transportation assistance, or purchasing adaptive equipment. There are a variety of funds available to help pay living expenses, including Medicaid. KCBDD can help individuals apply for residential services funding, or to plan a budget for the things they need.
