Rx Drop Box Program | Circleville Police Department

Provides a permanent disposal box where local or area residents may safely deposit unneeded and unwanted prescription medications which will be properly disposed of. Patient information may remain on the bottles. All contents will be destroyed. Both controlled and non-controlled substances may be disposed of. No liquid medications, creams, inhalers, needles or syringes are to be brought to the collection site.

Application process

Medications may be dropped off in the Drug Drop Box located in the lobby of the Circleville Police Department, 151 East Franklin Street. The lobby is open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Please no liquids or syringes. Check with local pharmacies as they may also accept many types of unused medications. The State of Ohio Board of Pharmacy provides the public with safe disposal instructions for both unused prescription drugs and medical waste products.
