Eligibility

Preble Co. residents are eligible to use the financial assistance up to once every other year, and will not be served two consecutive years unless approved by the case manager. A maximum of (3) financial assistance per household in a lifetime.

Required documents

Proof of need, identification and income information is required for every referral.

Offers emergency assistance based on 1 month’s bill. Persons needing more than one (1) month’s bill only with approval by staff, contingent on funds available. Must have disconnect notice Rent: Client must be at risk for homelessness *Client must demonstrate the ability to meet their need the next time it arises or be in process of meeting that need
