Description

Offers preventive dental care (only) by supervised dental hygiene students. Provides oral cancer examination, periodontal charting, oral hygiene instructions, oral prophylaxis (cleaning, deep scaling and polishing the teeth), x-rays, fluoride treatment, and nutrition counseling. Tooth sealants are also available if indicated. Also receives an explanation of treatment and alternatives, referrals for treatment when indicated, and information regarding current dental status.
