Welfare Rights Assistance | Legal Aid Of The Bluegrass
Provides legal advice and representation to individuals who have been wrongfully denied government benefits, or whose government benefits have been wrongfully terminated or reduced. Assists with Social Security, Supplemental Security Income (SSI), Medicaid, Medicare, unemployment benefits, Child Care Assistance, Kentucky Transitional Assistance Program (KTAP), and Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) related issues.

Fee
There is no charge for the time spent on a case. If there are court costs, witness fees, or other fees Legal Aid will incur to handle a case, Legal Aid asks that clients pay them to the best of their ability.
Eligibility
Open to residents of Boone, Campbell, Grant, and Kenton Counties who have a household income between 125%-200% of the Federal Poverty Level.
