Advocates attend hearings for victims of crime. Advocates relay the alleged victim's wishes/concerns/hopes for the criminal case to the prosecutor. Advocates ensure victims know their rights and keep them updated on criminal proceedings. Advocates also assist in restitution and compensation claims related to a criminal case.

Works with crime victims in the area court systems (County Common Pleas, Tiffin-Fostoria Municipal, and Juvenile) to inform victims of court hearings and their rights as victims of crime. Additionally, our office assists with the filing of Civil Protection Orders.
