Evaluates cases related to: food stamp overpayment; food stamps being denied, terminated, or delayed; or a cash benefit being denied/terminated AND the benefit amount is $0; Ohio Works First (OWF) cash assistance/childcare vouchers/childcare vouchers; Prevention Retention Contingency (PRC) or other state-local income maintenance overpayments, OWF cash assistance/childcare vouchers/PRC or other state/local income maintenance being denied/terminated/or delayed; Child disability case overpayments; child disability case where applicant has received notice proposing termination of benefits and an appeal has been requested; Social Security or Supplemental Security Insurance overpayments; Denial/termination/application delay of Medicaid or Medicare coverage or services, or problems with Medicaid or Medicare for currently or previously incarcerated individuals; Medical and nursing home collection; Emergency cases where there is a problem communicating with county Job & Family Services (CJFS) regarding benefits or application; Public benefits case involving applicant with a mental impairment, language or literacy barrier, or other issue; Veteran benefits overpayments, veteran benefits being denied/terminated, or change to discharge status.
