Offers a state-accredited kindergarten program for children who are having difficulties or trouble growing up emotionally. Emphasizes personality consolidation and preparation for joining regular first grade classes. Provides one teacher per five pupils. Limited to 18 children.

Parent must make appointment for intake interview. Phone M-F: 8:00am-5:00pm for information or to schedule an appointment. Waiting list possible.
Fee
Sliding scale. No one turned away due to financial limitations. School vouchers accepted. Health insurance, including Medicaid, may be accepted to pay for the therapy sessions that are part of the program, but not for tuition. Medicaid payments processed through Connections.
Eligibility
Children age 5 years through 6 years. A parent must be willing to work closely with the child's teacher and family helper.
