Eligibility
Must own property in Medina County that has been structurally damaged this year due to disasters such as fire, storm, flood, or tornado.
Required documents
Completed application (DTE-26).
Hours
- An application for a deduction from the current year’s value must be filed by December 31st for property that is destroyed or damaged in the first nine (9) months of the year.
- For property damaged in the last three (3) months of the year, the filing deadline is January 31st of the following year.
