Service Dogs For Veterans And Disabled Children | 4 Paws For Ability

Provides certified service dogs to children and Veterans (agency provides the dog - a client can not have their own pet trained to be a service dog). Once the dog is task trained for the child or Veteran, clients must attend a 9-day training class to learn how to work with their dogs.

Fee

- $50 non-refundable application fee. - Families of children must be willing to pay a fee for service or assist in fundraising.

Eligibility

- Serves children under 18 and individuals who are older but not their own legal guardian with a disability such as mobility, hearing, seizure, diabetes, and autism. - Serves adult Veterans with a disability living within three (3) hours of Xenia, Ohio.
