Tenants with quickly approaching eviction proceedings at court may also access program mediators at the court house on the day of hearing. Program has table on 11th floor outside court room to assist tenants and landlords.

Description
Program provides Eviction Prevention Tenant/Landlord Dispute Resolution Services and free Tenant Eviction Prevention Education Workshops for tenants. Note: if resident is behind on rent and is at risk of eviction, this program will help link tenant to emergency rental assistance in the community and help them problem solve with their landlord so they may get caught up on back rent and maintain their current housing. Program also offers a 2.5-hour free Eviction Prevention Workshops (via Zoom) for tenants to learn how to avoid risk of eviction in the future. Tenants may register for workshops on Event Brite.
