Eligibility

Open to residents of Boone, Campbell, Grant, and Kenton Counties who are either:

  • age 60 or older, and/or
  • current Medicare beneficiaries

Contact the intake line by phone. Calls are answered in the order they are received.

Fees

There is no charge for the time spent on a case. If there are court costs, witness fees, or other fees Legal Aid will incur to handle a case, Legal Aid asks that clients pay them to the best of their ability.

Counselors may assist individuals with questions or concerns about a variety of topics, such as Medicare, Medicare Supplemental Insurance, Long Term Care Insurance, Social Security/SSI, SNAP, and Veterans Administration benefits,
