Beginning in late October/early November, the leaf removal schedule will be posted on the City website and shared with the local news media. Signs will be posted in tree lawns in the wards prior to pickup dates.
Application process
Place loose leaves in street no more than two (2) feet from curb the day before collection. Collection Days will be posted in tree lawns. Call the 311 Contact Center for more information, to make a request, or report a concern. May leave a message regarding non-emergency issues when calling after 311 Contact Center hours. When calling from a home telephone inside Akron city limits, simply dial 3-1-1. Or visit the mobile-friendly website at www.akronohio.gov/311 to make a new request for service or check on the status of an existing concern.
