Emergency and transitional/permanent housing for clients The Place Next Door is a housing community for persons with a severe and persistent mental illness. Guidelines: - Applicants must have a diagnosed mental disorder including depression, bi-polar disorder, schizoaffective disorder, PTSD, anxiety, etc. - Applicants must be unaccompanied or single with no other person that will be living with them. - They have to have enough income to afford the $651 (approximately) per month rent, a housing voucher or some way to pay. Rent includes utilities. - Prior evictions are considered on a case by case basis as a part of the application process. - They can apply M-F 8-3. They are not taking appointments. They can just walk in. - If they have photo ID, SS card and proof of income that is helpful. - If they are not already a client of the Main Place, they will have to do an intake first.
