No restrictions but must become a member of the recreation center. Targets residents of Beachwood. Youth programs serves up to age 18, but age eligibility varies with program.

Track and Pool open from September-June. Hours of classes vary Pool - open swim times: Su: 9:00-3:00pm M, F: 6:30am-8:00am, 5:15pm-8:00pm Tu, W, Th: 6:30am-8:00am, 11:30am-1:00pm, 5:15pm-8:00pm Sa: 9:00am-3:30pm. Track: Su: 8:00am-11:00am M-F: 6:00am-7:30am 6:00pm-8:30pm Sa: 7:00am-11:00am.

To use the center and classes, must first purchase a pool/track pass or register for lessons. Passes must be purchased in person at the Beachwood High School. Best to phone for information M-F: 9:00am-3:00pm before walking in to purchase passes.

Fixed fee; Beachwood residents and employees receive a reduced rate; senior discount available.

Description

Provides an indoor pool and running track as well as a supervised fitness equipment room. Offers a learn-to-swim program for beginners through life-guard training, a community swim team, water aerobics, and open swim. Periodically offers various team sports.
