Eligibility

Open to Butler County residents age 18 and over who:

are at least 6 months pregnant, or are the parent of a child under the age of 18, including non-custodial parents
have a household income at or below 200% of the current Federal Poverty Level
have not received assistance through PRC within the last 12 months, and
are employed or have an employment offer or other verifiable income sufficient to meet ongoing needs

Description

Provides short-term assistance to help families overcome emergent barriers to obtaining and retaining employment. Assistance may be provided for employment-related or training-related needs, such as transportation expenses, work or school uniforms, or school fees or supplies. Assistance may also be provided for needs that could de-stabilize employment, including rent and utility expenses, childcare, and car repairs. This program is also known as PRC.
