Provides education on heart disease, stroke and CPR training; also provides Health and Safety courses via online tools and literature; other programs include Toledo Goes Red for Women, a heart disease awareness campaign, Toledo Heart Walk, a community fundraiser to create awareness, promote healthy living and raise research funds for cardiovascular care, Toledo Heart Ball, a premier fundraising event to raise funds for cardiovascular research and education; also provides the Get With the Guidelines program to help ensure continuous quality improvement of acute stroke treatment and ischemic stroke prevention.
