Application process
- Visit the website to complete online application.
- Only applications verified as complete will be placed on the waiting list.
- While on the waiting list, applicants are responsible to notify Jefferson Metropolitan Housing Authority (JMHA) in writing of any changes to their application information, including address and phone number changes.
- Applicants will periodically receive communication to update their information for JMHA, as well as when you are selected from the waiting list. Please respond to the communication promptly as instructed.
Fees
Eligible households pay approximately 30% to 40% of their adjusted gross income for rent and the housing authority subsidizes the balance.
