Provides staff and/or trained volunteers with a disability who can offer support and information for other disabled persons. Matches are made according to the specific support needs, disability and preferences of the consumer. Assesses the needs and abilities of disabled persons, and offers a series of workshops or one-on-one sessions to assist with accomplishing independent living goals.
