Volunteer Opportunities - Class Room Help / Working With Children With Disabilities | Children's Developmental Center Of Lima

Seeks volunteers to help young children with disabilities in the classroom. Volunteers will assist with reading activities, play, reaching therapy goals, and by giving individual attention to children. Volunteers receive guidance form the teacher while performing their duties and are provided orientation and training. Volunteers are never left alone with the children and are not expected or required to perform any diapering, bathroom, or discipline tasks. Most volunteers receive small gifts from time to time in recognition of their service and may use the experience as a job reference.
