Application process

Application required. Individuals can apply locally with Hamilton County Job and Family Services by completing the application for SNAP, TANF, child care assistance, and medical assistance. Individuals who want to apply for CHIP/Medicaid only online at benefits.ohio.gov. Individuals can also call the state consumer helpline for assistance at 1-800-324-8680.

Eligibility

Open to Hamilton County residents who are 18 years of age and under or a primary care giver with a child 18 years of age and under. Individuals must be a US citizen, national, or non-citizen legally admitted to the US and uninsured and ineligible for Medicaid.
