Examples may include chemical spills on highways and in waterways as well as toxic emissions from industry or other environmental crimes/violations. Provides an emergency response team that offers coordination and technical assistance for hazardous material containment. Works in conjunction with the federal environmental protection agency to ensure investigation and cleanup of contaminated sites.
