HOMEFULL
Homefull, formerly The Other Place, was founded in 1988 in Dayton, Ohio and has grown to meet the challenging needs of our community in service to the homeless. We have a bold vision of “a community where there is no homelessness” and a mission “to work to end homelessness by providing housing, services, advocacy and education.” We are an integral direct service provider in our local Continuum of Care and 10-Year Plan to End Homelessness and our work is recognized locally, statewide, and nationally. Homefull offers a comprehensive continuum of care and services to those who are at risk of homelessness, to those who are currently homeless and to those who are formerly homeless. Our programs and services include street outreach, prevention and diversion, Gateway shelter assessment, housing search and placement, rapid rehousing, and supportive services in permanent housing. We operate a social enterprise program called Homefull Solutions that focuses on urban agriculture, landscaping, and property maintenance. We also provide training, technical assistance and consulting as a top leader in our community.
