Appointments are available on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday. Appointment times are from 8am-12pm and 1pm-4pm and until 6pm on the Third Tuesday of the month when the Health Center is open extended hours. No walk-ins, please call to make an appointment. *Hours for COVID-19 vaccinations vary based on appointment times available.

Immunizations for children & adults are by APPOINTMENT ONLY. To schedule an appointment, call 740-399-8009. No immunization clinics are held on Thursdays.
Fee
If you have insurance, your insurance will be billed for your immunizations. Those visiting the medical clinic for immunizations are asked to bring their insurance card to each appointment. Due to changes at the federal and state levels for purchasing and reimbursement of vaccine, the health department medical clinic is now required to bill insurance companies for all adult and childhood immunizations. However, no child, under the age of 18 years, will be denied an immunization due to inability to pay. Medicaid is still be accepted. We accept cash, checks, money orders, debit or credit cards for payment. Make checks and money orders payable to the Knox Public Health.

The Community Health Center is a patient-centered medical home offering preventive and primary care to for men, women and children of all ages, including those who have no insurance, are under-insured or have insurance. Services include medical, dental, addiction treatment, mental health counseling, as well as women's health, well child visits, exams for work, school and sports MEDICAID Patients welcomed. Out-of-pocket expenses can be reduced depending on income and family size. Costs are significantly lower than going to ER or urgent care. Significant cost reduction for any Lab work and prescriptions. Travel vouchers available to those without transportation; Walk-ins accepted.
