COVID-19 vaccine appointments available by calling 740-399-8008. The Community Health Center offers all childhood immunizations, or “shots” as they are sometimes called, for children, birth through age 18. This includes all shots required to attend public school including: the full series of Dtap (diphtheria/tetanus/pertussis) and MMR (measles/mumps/rubella), polio, chickenpox, hepatitis B and varicella; Tdap (tetanus/diphtheria/pertussis). For college-bound students, vaccines for HPV, hepatitis B and meningitis are available. During flu season, the flu vaccine in the form of a shot or adults and children. The Community Health Center also offers many adult immunizations including those for shingles, pneumonia and influenza. Occasionally, walk-in clinics are held especially prior to the beginning of the school year and during the flu season. Parents should bring shot-record form so that the Immunization staff can update the form.

Appointments are available on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday. Appointment times are from 8am-12pm and 1pm-4pm and until 6pm on the Third Tuesday of the month when the Health Center is open extended hours. There is an administration fee per visit for immunizations. The cost for each vaccine is billed to your insurance company. Medicaid and Medicare accepted along with all other insurance. We accept cash, checks, money orders, debit or credit cards for payment.

The Community Health Center is a patient-centered medical home offering preventive and primary care to for men, women and children of all ages, including those who have no insurance, are under-insured or have insurance. Services include medical, dental, addiction treatment, mental health counseling, as well as women's health, well child visits, exams for work, school and sports MEDICAID Patients welcomed. Out-of-pocket expenses can be reduced depending on income and family size. Costs are significantly lower than going to ER or urgent care. Significant cost reduction for any Lab work and prescriptions. Travel vouchers available to those without transportation; Walk-ins accepted.
