No restrictions to apply; eligibility will vary from program to program. In most cases, homebound and disabled persons can apply for programs and conduct intake interviews (with the providing agency) by phone.
Those walking-in should bring photo ID (Driver's License or State ID). In all cases, client should have the following information before calling: Names and Social Security numbers for all members of the household Information about income Information about expenses including rent/mortgage and utility bills.

Description

Provides benefits screening and assistance with applications for several government assistance programs (Food Stamps (SNAP), Medicaid, etc) NOTE: does not help with unemployment. Provides particular focus on signing households up for food stamps (SNAP). Trained phone staff takes information from the neighbor in order to fill out applications for many programs at once. Applications can be completed and submitted over the phone. Can also provide food pantry referrals to the agency's six County food partner sites.

Provides perishable and nonperishable food, non-food items, fresh produce, and prepared meals to area hunger centers and other eligible non-profit organizations. Administers Harvest for Hunger, an annual community-wide food and fund drive.
