ADULT DAY PROGRAM CENTERS | PERRY COUNTY BOARD OF DEVELOPMENTAL DISABILITIES
Adult day service centers provide a coordinated program of professional and compassionate services for adults in a community-based group setting. Provides support in the area of personal care, to reinforce skills needed to participate in community living, to provide training in self-determination, to develop social relationships, and to engage individuals in therapeutic activities. Some general services that will be offered are: - Social activities: interaction with other participants in planned activities appropriate for their conditions - Transportation: door-to-door service - Personal care: help with hygiene, grooming, eating and other personal activities of daily living - Therapeutic activities: exercise and mental interaction for all participants.

The Perry County Board of Developmental Disabilities provides services to individuals with developmental disabilities who reside in Perry County. Services are individualized according to assessments/plans. The Boards mission is to partner with the community by using available resources to support individuals with developmental disabilities.
