$3 each for tires up to 18 inches, $5 each for tires on rims, $8 each for semi tires off the rim and $.20 a pound for over size tires. Only 10 tires will be accepted at a time.

As many as 10 tires will be accepted at a time for recycling. There is a charge per tire. Those who have has tires dumped on property they own are asked to call to learn about disposal options.

Charged with the following responsibilities: Reduce the amount of trash going to landfills from Richland County, increase the amount of recycling taking place within the county, meet all post-closure requirements of the Ohio and US EPAs at the closed Richland County Landfill, meet all the Ohio EPA requirements dealing with reporting for the county in the area of solid waste and litter control for the county. Offers year round collection of electronics, appliances and household recyclables at the National Parkway facility also the following programs: SCRAP recycling trailer, tire recycling, environmental education in the county, litter control within the county, Yard Waste Composting Facility, promotion of buying recycled, and other programs dealing with solid waste within the county.
