Enforces public health laws and regulations for portable water wells, ponds, springs, cisterns, or hauled water storage tanks. These would include single water supplies that serve homes, small businesses, small churches, small mobile home parks, or communities with fewer than 25 residents.
Also provides permits for the construction or alteration of a private water well, tests water samples, and conducts real estate water system evaluations by request.
