All complaints must be in writing. Anonymous complaints may not be accepted, due to the legal process.

Wayne County, Ohio

Investigates reports of health nuisances and determines follow-up actions. Will investigate the following:

Malfunctioning household sewage disposal/treatment devices
Garbage /refuse storage and removal
Public swimming pools, bathing places, camps, parks trailer parks, and other places of public gathering
Private water supply systems
Abandoned wells and cisterns

Does not enforce any building or housing maintenance code. For those issues, call city/village offices or Wayne County Building Department.
