DONATIONS | AMERICAN CANCER SOCIETY

Accepts donations of new and used clothes, household items, jewelry, books, medical supplies, school supplies, sports equipment, and CDs/DVDs (no VHS). Items must be clean and in working order. Furniture and small appliances which DO NOT contain refrigerants/coolants are accepted. Donations are re-sold in thrift shops to raise money for American Cancer Society programs.

Eligibility

Furniture must be previewed before it is accepted for resale. Donated clothing must be on hangars or neatly folded in boxes. No pick-up service is available.

Works toward the elimination of cancer as a major health problem by preventing cancer, saving lives, and diminishing suffering from cancer via research funding, education, advocacy and service. Provides information about both cancer and resources for cancer patients. Also sponsors a range of support groups and one-to-one visitation programs for cancer patients.
