Peer Mental Health Support Services | National Association Of Anorexia Nervosa And Associated Disorders

Potential mentees must:

  • be 16 years of age or older. Parental consent is required for participants under the age of 18
  • be participating in outpatient care and able to get agreement from their therapist that they are a good fit for the mentorship program
  • not be participating in an IOP program, residential treatment, partial-hospitalization, or other inpatient care at time of the mentorship program

Application required. Applications are accepted twice a year and may be submitted online when the portal is open.

Description

Offers a free peer support mentoring program to anyone motivated to recover from an eating disorder. Mentees receive weekly one-on-one virtual support for a period of six months from a mentor that has recovered from an eating disorder.
