Provides cats and dogs that have been rescued and placed in animal foster homes for adoption. Animals have been spayed or neutered and have had a first set of shots. Also allows those wishing to surrender a pet to list their pet for adoption.

Application process

Use the website to email (preferred) or leave a phone message M-F. Volunteer will call back during the week to screen callers for adoption. Following a successful screening, volunteers will give appropriate contact information for scheduling an appointment to assess animal for possible adoption.

Fee

Fixed fee for adoption. Posting a notice is free, but donations are encouraged.

Eligibility

Serves Cuyahoga and Geauga counties. Screening required for adoption, including for those wanting to post notice of their pet's availability for adoption. Animal breeders and people that sell animals are not eligible to use adoption-posting service. All animals listed with the adoption service must be spayed or neutered.
