Applicant must an adult age 18 or older and reside in Cuyahoga County upon release. Applicant must have been released from State Prison, Federal Prison, Halfway House, Cuyahoga County Jail, or Community Based Residential Facility (CBCF) with in the last 12 months (applicants who are current residents and/or clients of Halfway Houses and CBCFs must be within their last 45 days of placement before applying). Applicant has 12 months post release from incarceration to access funds as long as funds are available. Funding is awarded on a first come, first serve basis, pending all verification and documentation have been received.
Photo ID (state ID or Driver's License) proof of income (Employment, SSI/SSDI, Retirement, Pension) proof of lease and/or utility bill.

Funds are intended to stabilize the client's housing situation. Applicants will need to attend two financial literacy courses prior to funding distribution (agency will refer).
