Tracks and investigates any animal bite, from domesticated or wild animals, including 10 day isolation of the animal (if animal is alive), testing of dead animals suspected of carrying rabies, and verification of the animal's vaccination against rabies if applicable. Provides disease prevention practices include the elimination of havens for rodents, baiting for rodents, reduction of standing water for mosquitoes, and treatment for larval and adult mosquitoes.
