Eligibility
Serves families who plan to enroll in Oberlin schools and families residing in Oberlin who have children who have not yet entered Kindergarten.
Required documents
Will be requested as needed.
Hours
  • Accepts calls Monday through Friday from 8:00am to 4:00pm.
  • Sign-up events held periodically.
  • Online registration available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

Application process
Register online at www.oberlinkids.org, by texting or calling the agency, or at Oberlin community events. Screenings are available online, by printed copy, or in-person.

No fee.

Oberlin, Ohio
Provides annual social-emotional and developmental screenings that engages families and identifies the strengths of the child and how to support their learning. If needs are identified follow-up referral support is provided. Play groups are provided as well as parent education sessions, individualized resources, and preschool scholarships for Oberlin preschools.
