Application process
- See website for dates. Program normally starts towards the end of October and is over by December 1st. Leaf pick up is a 4-week program offering 2 pick-ups. - Yard refuse including grass clippings, garden waste, leaves, and so forth must be in yard waste carts or yard waste bags by 7:00am on the day of regular pickup for your street. - Please do not rake leaves into the street. This causes clogging of the storm sewer system and creates serious problems of street flooding during periods of heavy rains. Crews may pick up bulk piles of leaves a day or two in advance of your schedule. However, they will return to your area on the regularly-scheduled Monday. - Do not park cars on the street on pick up days, as it may be impossible to pick up the yard waste.
Fee
- No additional charges for extra trash picked up during the seasonal cleanup weeks. - Yard waste carts are available for a $25 down payment, refundable upon return of the cart.
