Offers Veterans and eligible beneficiaries the opportunity to purchase dental insurance at a reduced cost. Contracts with certain dental insurance providers to offer dental services to eligible veterans and their dependents. Offered plans will vary and may include diagnostic, preventative, surgical, emergency and endodontic/restorative treatment.

Application process

There are two dental insurance providers who are contracted to provide these plans. Phone to contact one of the contracted dental insurance providers for more information. Information about the program is available on the website (with links to the websites of the contracted insurance providers).

Fee

Each participant will pay a fixed monthly premium (reduced) for coverage in addition to any co payments required by his or her plan.

Eligibility

Veterans enrolled in the VA health care program and beneficiaries enrolled in The VA's Civilian Health and Medical Program (CHAMPVA). Participation in this program does not affect Veterans' eligibility for VA dental services and treatment.
