ON-THE-RISE | ON THE RISE
On TheRise is an after-school program for youth between the ages of 10 and 15 who have poor school attendance and may be prone to dropping out of school. In a country setting, this is an opportunity for at-risk youth to care for small farm animals and perform various farm-centered chores. These and other self-care and self-discovery activities are intended to promote responsibility, compassion, work ethic, and positive self-image. The program's ultimate goals are to establish positive life long employability, life and social skills. Meals, snacks and tutoring are also provided.
