Provides assistance with furnace (including boilers) and hot water tank repair for those who have no heat due to a malfunctioning or unsafe unit. Will assist with replacement of unit only for health and safety reasons. Agency contracts with outside companies that have been approved to provide these services.

Eligibility
Serves households in the City of Cleveland. Income limits are: household of one: $34,050; two: $38,009; three: $43,750; four: $48,006. Must own and reside in the home where repairs are needed for at least one year; home must not be for sale; property taxes must be current (or on payment plan). Can help with a duplex, but will only help with the furnace and/or hot water tank in the owner's home - will not work on the renter's home. Will work on furnaces that are tied into central air conditioning - but only if the problem affects heating functions during the heating season.
