Provides information on Gap Coverage, Medicare Part D and other Medicare issues and questions. Offers Medicare 101 Community Presentations. Monthly Medicare for Beginners Workshops at COAAA office. See website or call for schedule and to register. Low Income Subsidy: Medicare offers financial assistance for beneficiaries who are eligible for extra help to pay for the prescription drug benefit (Part D). If you qualify and are approved for extra help and do not yet have Part D, you may choose to enroll in a Medicare Prescription Drug Plan. Your coverage will begin the first day of the month following your enrollment.

COAAA plans, funds, and delivers services that help older adults and individuals with disabilities remain safe and independent in their homes. With the assistance of area providers, COAAA arranges and coordinates services to help people with activities of daily living in the home, such as homemaking, home-delivered meals, personal care, transportation, and more. COAAA offers education and resources to caregivers, professionals, and the public. COAAA also advocates for programs and policies that benefit older adults and individuals with disabilities.
