Description
Accepts applications and determines eligibility for Social Security burial benefits, which provides a one time payment of $255 to help meet the burial expenses of a worker who dies with sufficient quarters of coverage. The lump-sum payment is in addition to any monthly survivors insurance benefits that may be due.
