Eligibility

No limit on borrower's income; credit decisions are based on the bank's normal lending criteria. Borrower's property taxes must be current. Serves owners of single-family, two-family, and multi-family dwellings anywhere in Cuyahoga County except in the communities of Bentleyville, Hunting Valley, and Chagrin Falls Township. Includes owner-occupied and investment properties. Single and two-family dwellings must have a tax value of less than $250,000; no tax value limit on multi-family dwellings. Owners of mobile homes are not eligible.

Description

Provides home improvement loans at 3% below the lowest bank rates through designated area lending institutions for homeowners throughout most of Cuyahoga County. The minimum loan amount is $3000 and maximum loan amounts is $200,000. Loans can be used for maintenance, repairs, remodeling, landscaping, code violation compliance, property upgrades, and other improvements. Loan maturity of up to 5 years; 10 years for loans of more than $12,500.
