U.S. citizen or naturalized citizen of the U.S. Resident of Ashland County and Ohio for 30 days prior to an election. Minimum 18 years of age by the date of the election.
Accepted forms of ID, updated Sep 9, 2024: * Ohio driver's license * State of Ohio ID card * Interim ID form issued by the Ohio BMV * US passport * US passport card * US military ID card * Ohio National Guard ID card * US Department of Veterans Affairs ID card All photo IDs must have the following: * An expiration date that has not passed * A photograph of the voter * Voter’s name, which must substantially conform to the voter’s name as it appears in the Poll List or in the Poll Book **NOTE**: An unexpired Ohio Driver License, State ID Card, or Interim Documentation with former address IS an ACCEPTABLE form of ID when current address is in the pollbook.

Walk in. After hours ballot drop box is located at the south side entrance of the Ashland County Office Building. Pull around the drive and insert your ballot or any correspondence for the Board of Elections.

No fees for registering to vote or absentee voting.
