Eligibility

No restrictions on residence. Adult classes serve those aged 18 and over. Youth classes are of various ages up to 18 years. Park Village site has specific hours when youth may use the computers and specific hours when only adults are allowed.

Required documents

Youth attending classes without a parent require parent permission.

Hours

Classes are offered periodically, year-round at main site. Scheduling varies. Some evening and weekend activities are available. At Park Village site, hours are offered for adult use and for use by youth. Generally hours for adults are M-F: 11am-3:00pm. Hours for youth are M-F: 1:00pm-5:00pm (summer) and M-F: 3:00-5:00pm during the school year (September-May). Computer classes at Park Village site are by appointment.

Application process

Walk-In or call the main site, M-F: 8:30am-5:00pm to find out when activities are scheduled. Individuals need to be pre-registered for classes. For the Park Village site, adults may walk in M-F: 11:00am-3:00pm (school year). Hours for youth are M-F: 1:00-5:00pm (summer) and M-F: 3:00-5:00pm during the school year (September-May). Computer classes at the Park Village site are scheduled by calling M-F: 11:00am-6:00pm (school year) or M-F: 10:00am-5:00pm (summer).

Description

Provides computers, networked and equipped with high speed Internet, for educational use by the community. Classes in use of computers for both youth and adults are available as well as periods of open lab time.
